Obituary

Margaret Galaski passed away peacefully, after struggling with various health conditions on May 26, 2026, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, surrounded by her family. Born November 21,1936, she lived a full and meaningful life devoted to her family. A loving mother, and formerly a dedicated real estate secretary and friend. She was known for her warmth, and kindness. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley (2007); her parents, Peter and Jeannie Reilly; and her brother, David. Margaret is lovingly remembered by her daughter Laura, and son-in-law, Doug; and daughter, Melissa and an extended family of cousins, her side as well as close family friends. She truly treasured every family celebration. Margaret grew up in Toronto and maintained a lifelong love of reading and travel. She had a fulfilling career as a real estate secretary in Toronto, where she lived for 89 years.  In retirement, she travelled extensively with her husband Stanley, and daughters Laura and Melissa. Although in her later life, she did suffer from various conditions, she was still a strong woman who enjoyed life to its fullest with humour and kindness. Although we shall miss her dearly, we know she would wish us to go on with our lives and remember her fondly. Flowers or donations to the St. Joseph’s Health Centre would be appreciated by the family.
