Obituary

Our beloved Fernando died peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Toronto on Monday, August 23, 2021.

Fernando was born in Lumba de Santa Barbara, Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel Acores. He was the son of Jose Da Silva and Maria do Carmo Broges Da Silva (predeceased).

Fernando was a brother to four sisters, two brothers and a whole bunch of nieces and nephews.

Fernando was loved by all. He was a caring loving soul. Fernando loved to listen to music.  Give him a Jorge Ferreira cassette and he was the happiest person in the world.  He would sing and tap his foot to every song.

He will be sadly missed. He will be fondly remembered and missed by Nicholas, Evan, Anthony, Chloe (his Gloria) and Marcus. He had a very special bond with them.

We love you Tio Fernando and miss you very much.  ❤️❤️
