With profound love, we remember Julyn Cecile Gray. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Julyn passed on Good Friday April 3rd, 2026.
Beloved daughter of Cecil States and predeceased by Carla Gray.
Predeceased by grandmother Marion States and living grandfather Ervin Cromwell.
Predeceased by grandmother Irene Wise Gray, Predeceased grandfather Joseph Skeir and Predeceased aunt Lynn Husbands.
Sister of Milo and Chante Gray as well as each of their two children.
Step daughter of Melissa McCarnan and step sister Jenaya McCarnan.
Devoted wife to Lonnie Cioffi of 15 years and stepmother to Andreia Cioffi. Beloved daughter in law to Lonnie's mother Janet Memezes. Sister in law Angie Cioffi and her daughter.
Julyn had a large extended family leaving behind many aunts, uncles and cousins. As well as her beloved (Chihuahua) fur baby Kilo of 16 years.
Julyn is lovingly remembered by her foster family the Palfrey's who raised her with care and devotion. She will be deeply missed by caregivers Bonnie Palfrey (Maz Hayat), Greg Palfrey (Diane), sisters Laura Palfrey Short (Jesse), Rebecca Patterson, Tabitha White, brother Dan Palfrey and niece Eliana Robertson.

To Julyn her Husband & family I’m so sorry for your loss I struggle for the words to say you guys do not deserve this she did not deserve this the amount of suffering is truly heartbreaking but we need to look at it this way she is no longer suffering she’s resting peacefully & I know she has found her way to where she needs to be with her mom & the lord it would be terrible to see her suffering in the way that I know she was so for this sometimes the hardest thing is to make that call so they don’t suffer anymore we take on that battle from here on out & I know it’s not easy but this is the best gift we can give to her cause she gave it a hell of a fight she’s a trooper & she gave it her all rest easy girl you so deserve this
