I met Cristina in August when she and I both joined the band The Up North Kids. We were both the new girls in the band. She made me feel so welcome, and I loved her instantly. She was the most talented and genuine person I have ever known. Cristina was an amazing person and she will be missed by so many. I am so sorry for your loss,

I only saw and talked to Cristina a few times during her stay at Ryerson, but I was drawn by her magnetic personality. I regret not talking to her more when I had the chance. She will not be forgotten.

I did not know Cristina, but I saw her perform several times with Anima Fado. She was a beautiful young woman, and her passing is a real tragedy. Please accept my condolences.

May God embrace Christina into his arms and welcome her loving spirit. Forever young and forever remembered. The Gouveia family sends their deepest sympathies to the Taborda family on the sudden loss of their beautiful daugther, Christina.

My greatest condolences to your family. I knew Christina from school and the new york trip that happened last fall. She was a very bubbly and pleasant person and always made an effort to say hello to me from then on, even though I was in the year below her. It is obvious that she was greatly loved and I know that the students who shared their time with her at Ryerson will not forget her.
