Obituary
Albert Edward Stoddard, beloved husband of Eloise, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday April, 1, 2010. Albert was born in Toronto, sn of Arthur Stoddard of Costa Rica and Winnifred Maude Corbett of Montego Bay, Jamaica. He was on of ten children. Albert is survived by brother George, and is predeceased by brothers; Roy, Walter, Bill, Paul, Bruce and by sisters; Dorothy, Myrtle and Jean. He will be sadly missed by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many nephews and nieces. Friends may call at the Cardinal Funeral Homes, 366 Bathurst St. (north of Dundas) on Tuesday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Service to follow at noon. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery (On parliment, south of Bloor). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Park Hospital.Visitation

My condolence to you and your family. Al was a caring, loving person to me my sister and brother. He always took the time to say a special hello and joke when ever we saw him. Over the years we did see him often, however he will be truly missed.

- i did not meet AL until 2004.
- i was visiting my new girl friend's sister's place, and AL & FLOSS were there.
- these were the early days when i was just getting to know my new girl friend's family and friends.
- i remember AL giving me a hard time ( maybe to protect viola, my new girl friend, maybe because i was a white guy, but probably because i was an american ).
- AL had a bright and firey intelligent intensity that i liked and respected immediately.
- as TIME went on a bit, AL and i learned we both liked similar music, and to some extent we shared various cuts of old music.
- i knew that AL was one of those people you meet that you just like and respect as though you had known them all your life.
- he was a good man and i will miss him.
