Obituary
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Arjun Gupta. He passed peacefully in his sleep on July 22, 2023.
Arjun was a compassionate son and a loving brother. His passion in life was caring for others and helping the less privileged. Undeniably loyal, brilliant, kind hearted, soft spoken, funny, selfless, and generous beyond belief, his kindness was felt by everyone who had the opportunity to meet him. Arjun had immense pride for his family, who meant the world to him.
His athletic prowess in squash was felt globally, where he represented Canada on many occasions; he was a role model for many. Arjun is survived by his parents, Ajay and Anita, his brother, Amar and sister-in-law Ameena, and the Gupta and Suri families.
In keeping with Arjun’s nature of giving, his memory will live on through the Arjun Gupta Foundation, which will focus on causes which were close to his heart. The details will be forthcoming.
He will remain forever in our hearts.

My sincere condolences on Arjun's passing. I just heard the sad news at Bayview Glen today. I taught Arjun in my homeroom in my third year at BVG in 1999-2000, when Arjun was in Grade 4. He brought such a positive energy and big smile into class every day! Arjun is remembered very fondly at BVG and I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

So shocked and saddened to hear of Arjun’s passing. I didn’t know Arjun well but he always had a kind word or thoughtful advice around the locker room. His future was so bright. He made his positive mark in this world and we are all better for having known this young man.

Such a shock hearing this news. I met him in business school and we interacted a few times. I had thought that the next time I meet him, I will ask him to help me with squash. Regrettably, that opportunity never came to pass. May he find eternal peace.
