Alfano, Ben. On May 1st, 2011. Ben is survived by his three sons Frank, Mark and Andrew. Loving grandfather of Ashley, Dio and Iommi. Also survived by sisters Mary and Mirella. Friends will be received at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St. (north of Dundas) on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Complete Funeral Service to follow at 8 p.m. Cremation at a later date.Visitation

I couldn't believe this when I heard the news. What a great man. I remember being at Drew's house with Lenny or Mat and Ben always around, seeing if there was anything we needed or wanted, always looking for some way to help us out. He was always up for cooking food at all times of the night or day, usually offering steaks lol I could always tell how much he loved and cared for Drew, you could see it in his eyes (I wasn't usually around his other sons very often but I'm sure it was the exact same for them).
God bless your family and may he help you through this tough time. Be there for each other and always remember you have friends that love and care about you as well.
