Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the passing of Carlos Leite, who departed peacefully on April 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Carlos was the devoted husband of Maria Leite, and together they built a strong and loving family. He was the proud father to Fernando, Nelson, Paul, Anna, and Debbie. Affectionately known as “Vavô,” Carlos was a cherished grandfather to eight grandchildren and a joyful great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren.

Born in Portugal, Carlos immigrated to Canada to forge a better life for his family. Through hard work and unwavering dedication, he provided a foundation of love and support that will endure for generations. His warmth, wisdom, and selfless devotion to family were the cornerstones of his life.

Carlos’s legacy of love and resilience will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends in both Canada and Portugal. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

My sincere and deepest condolences. One of my fondest memories are when senhor Carlos would take Debbie and myself to McDonald's on Fridays in his blue minivan. May you all find comfort knowing your Dad was a very kind man. Rest easy senhor Carlos.

Deepest sympathy to my aunt , counsins, and grandchildren. Growing up I lived over one block there wasn't a day missed that I wouldn't see my uncle. I spent my childhood and adulthood there. He had a great sense of humor a heart of gold. He treated everyone equally. He loved hockey night in Canada and soccer. My uncle and aunt would open there heart and home to all of us with food ,joy, laughter . I will miss him but I thank him for the memories and celebrate him. Titio Carlos thank you 🙏❤️ love you
