Passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Dorothy Ley Hospice at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Mary. Loving father to Michael, Alexander and Anita. Visitations will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (just east of Keele), on Monday, April 25th from 6 to 9 p.m. with prayers in Polish at 8 p.m. and Tuesday, April 26th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. with Panachyda at 8 p.m. A Divine Liturgy will be said at Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection (St. Mary's), 30 Leeds St., on Wednesday, April 27th at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Park Lawn Cemetery (Bloor and Prince Edward)Visitation

To the Shuper Family
Danny was a road technician who used his unique talent while working for the Ministry of Transportation. I will always remember him as the expert on the geometrics of road design. People, including engineers, would frequently go to Danny to seek help solving their highway engineering problems. As one of his coworkers in the Freeway Engineering department in the 1990s, I really felt blessed knowing someone like Danny as he was an individual who always gave freely of his time to teach others, and was a mentor to the younger staff. I had the greatest respect for him because he possessed a certain je ne sais quoi - that positive quality that eluded description. Danny always livened up the office and made us laugh. It was with great pride that I could call him a true friend at our workplace.

Dear Mary and the entire Shuper family, I wish to extend my deepest condolences for your loss. Daniel was a wonderful and respected individual and it was a great pleasure and honour to have had the opportunity of speaking with him as often as I did over the last few months.
