Obituary

Our hearts are broken at the sudden and unexpected passing of Dorian Edward Gordon Logan on September 3, 2026. Born February 14, 1976 in Toronto, Ontario, Dorian was the loving husband to Sylvannia (Sylvie) Samone Soulet, father to Lily-Isabella Etoile Logan, co-parent with Meghan Hulsman, son of Alexander Logan and the late Heather Baird, brother of James Logan, Janeen (Ken, Jessica, Erika, and Alyssa) Nagy, and Ryan (Vanessa, Nora, and Rosie) Logan, half-brother to Corrine and Martin McSharry, a myriad of aunts and uncles and cousins, chosen brother to Trell Huether and a best friend to many including April, Daniel, Jeremy, Keith, Kyle, Lindsay and Stefan, to name a few.
Although Dorian’s life was cut far too short, he leaves behind an enormous legacy. He was a wonderful husband, father and friend, a music aficionado, an avid film fan, a cycling enthusiast, an arts connoisseur, a passionate defender of the underdog and a dedicated public servant. He had a brilliant sense of humour, amazing emotional intelligence and endless empathy which he used to truly bring people together. Dorian constantly left others feeling better about themselves and the world around them. These rare qualities and his magical smile, his rich, soothing voice and his infectious laugh have left a lasting impression upon those whose lives he had touched and he will be sorely missed.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17 from 5 PM to 8 PM. A celebration of life event will be held on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, we encourage family and friends to honour Dorian by contributing to the higher education costs of his amazing daughter Lily-Isabella, who aspires to study law.
