Obituary
Sorrenti, Giuseppe (Joseph). Suddenly on January 22nd, 2012 at St. Catharine’s General Hospital, surrounded by the family he loved. Joseph, in his 73rd year, passed into the safe arms of his Lord. Survived by Norma, his wife of 35 years; his children, Mary (Tom), Susan (Greg), Anne (Curt), Pamela (George), their mother Elli, and Kaytie. Nonno will be missed by his loving grandchildren; Amelia, Samantha, Angela, Alexander and Raymond. He will live in the memory of his brothers and sisters; Angelina (Horst), Rosa (Egidio), George (Lucy) and Domenic. Predeceased by his mother and father, Palmira and Reginaldo and his siblings, Giacomina, Martin and Julio. Joe will be remembered fondly by his extended family in B.C., Italy and England and his many friends. In lieu of flowers donations are requested to the charity of choice. Friends will be received at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St. Toronto (near Dundas) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Friday, January 27th, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 72 Mansfield Ave. On line tributes may be made at www.cardinalfuneralhomes.com.Visitation
