Obituary
In Loving Memory
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Jacinto Lobo Pereira at Toronto Western Hospital on October 8, 2024, at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of Conceicao Pereira and a devoted father to Eduardo Pereira, Fernanda Fabrizi (Raymond Fabrizi), and Julia Pereira (Nicole George). His love and guidance will be dearly missed by his cherished grandchildren, Eric and Sara Fabrizi.
He was a caring brother to Jose Pereira, Antonio Pereira, and America Da Costa Pereira, and a treasured uncle to many in Canada, Portugal, France, and Germany. He is now reunited with his beloved parents, Julia Rodrigues Lobo and Antonio Da Costa Pereira, and his dear sister, Maria Da Costa Pereira.
His kindness, wisdom, and warmth will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home (Bathurst Chapel, 366 Bathurst Street, Toronto) on Tuesday, October 15th from 2-4 pm & 6-9 pm. His funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church (1041 Bloor Street West, Toronto) at 10:30 am on Wednesday, October 16th. Followed by the burial at Prospect Cemetery & Mausoleum (1450 St Clair Avenue West, Toronto).
Expressions of sympathy and donations to Alzheimer’s Society and/or Parkinson’s Society would be appreciated.
Special thanks to the staff at Toronto Rehab, Bickle & Toronto Western Hospital on 4B Fell especially, Dr. Jacqueline Hayworth and Dr. Jalal Ebrahi.
