Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jaime Aguiar on January 24, 2025, at home, surrounded by his wife, son, and daughter-in-law. Born on July 2, 1942 in Sao Miguel, Jaime moved to Canada in 1970, where he built a life of hard work, integrity, and warmth.
Jaime was a devoted husband to Connie for 40 years, and a loving father to his son, Jeffrey, daughter in law Diana and grandfather to his cherished grandson, Mateo. Known for his humor, kindness, and impeccable style, Jaime had a way of making everyone around him feel special.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of Jaime’s life will be held on January 29, 2025 at Cardinal Funeral Home Bathurst with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM / 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM. A funeral mass will take place at St. Helens Parish (1680 Dundas St W.) on Thursday January 30, 2025 at 10:00 AM.
Entombment is to follow at Park Lawn Mausoleum.
