This is very hard to write, but I’m going to write it—because he deserves it. I worked alongside Jamie at Yummy. He was one of the drivers I took care of, and we worked together for the past three years, going on four. Jamie was an incredible man—one of the kindest and sweetest-hearted people I have ever met. Every time he came back from his route, he always made me smile. Jamie was happy and bubbly, and he would always tell me, “Be happy—life is too short.” I will truly miss our little conversations, him telling me how his day went, how the kids at his centres were doing, and how he was going to spend the weekend with his beautiful wife. I’m going to miss him in general more than words can say. There is a hole at Yummy because of his passing—he truly meant a lot to all of us. I’m going to miss you so much. Rest in peace, Jamie. Until we meet again. 🤍

I want to send my deepest condolences to Jaime family. I knew him from working at Daycare in Newmarket. He was a beautiful soul and he always came with big smile and biggest heart for all the children. He made us laugh over the years. He was full of life and enjoyed his life! Jaime always gave high fives to children and bright our day! He will be missed very deeply! RIP Jaime you were someone very special and your friendly spirit has touched many of us. Gone but not forgotten.

We were so sad to hear about Jaime, and we know his passing will have a significant impact on all of us at YCD as well as so many other agencies and individuals. The children and educators looked forward to seeing him in our programs for a high five, or just a smile. Jaime was such a kind man who always took time to connect with the children and educators. We hope to be able to share something with both Yummy Catering and Jaime’s family in the coming days to express how much he meant to us at YCD. We can only imagine the impact this has on Jaime’s own family and the Yummy family. Sincere Condolences. RIP Jamie, you will be truly missed.

Please accept our deepest condolences on the passing of your loved one. Jaime was truly a man bigger than life. He whisked into our school, Park Avenue P.S., with boundless positivity, warmth, and joy. His presence was a beacon of light, marked by genuine exuberance and an infectious zest for life. Even in brief moments, Jaime had a remarkable way of lifting spirits and reminding us of the simple power of kindness and human connection. While our relationship may not have been close in time, the sense of loss is deeply felt. Jaime's impact lingers in the smiles he sparked, the joy he shared, and the energy he brought with him wherever he went. He leaves behind a meaningful reminder for us all: to find joy in each day, to share it freely with others, and to leave the world a little better than we found it. Please know that our thoughts are with you during this difficult time, and we hold space for your grief as we honour his memory.

I work at Park Avenue PS where Jamie delivered food. We were not close but I was SO impacted by his genuine care and kindness to everyone. His example of loving every day and every one has been noted and missed by our staff. May his family be comforted in memories. We were grateful for him.

Jamie was such a kind and loving soul whose presence brought warmth to everyone he encountered. Each day, as he arrived at OLGC to deliver food, the children eagerly gathered at the gate to greet him. He never passed by without a smile, a kind word, or a moment of genuine connection. Jamie made every child feel seen and valued, and it was clear how much joy he found in those simple daily interactions. The children truly loved seeing Jamie and looked forward to his visits. His gentle nature, friendly spirit, and caring heart left a lasting impression on our community. He was more than a familiar face — he was someone who brought comfort, consistency, and kindness into our days. Jamie will be missed dearly by all of us. I am so deeply sorry to his family for this incredible loss. Please know that his kindness lives on in the memories he created and in the hearts of the children and staff who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy of compassion and love will not be forgotten. Thank you,
