Werbowyj, John Iwan. Died peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday February 18, 2016 in Toronto. Beloved husband of the late Maria Werbowyj. Dear father of the late Natalie Werbowyj and Stephen Werbowyj and his wife Christine. Loving grandfather of Andrew Werbowyj and the late Julia Werbowyj. A tirelessly supportive and loving person, he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Resting at Cardinal Funeral home (92 Annette St. at Keele) where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 7-9 pm. Panachyda at 7:30 pm. A private family funeral service will follow, with interment in Park Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church would be appreciated.
