Obituary

John Henry Williams, 81, passed away peacefully on April 22 at Toronto General Hospital.

He emigrated from Montserrat and worked for many years in manufacturing. He retired from a textile company in 2014.

John Williams enjoyed going to church, watching sports and talking politics. Guided by his faith, he lived simply and kindly, touching others with his gentle spirit. He will be remembered as a kind and unassuming man who valued simplicity and treated everyone with warmth and respect.

He is survived by his brother, Roland, son Johnny (Christianne) and grandson Mason.

Visitation will be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Streeton Friday May 8, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral service (with The Rev. Hannah Johnston) will also be held at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Streeton Saturday May 9 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception.
