Jaber, Johnny After a brave battle with cancer died peacefully at home with his family by his side on August 25, 2011 . Beloved husband of Flavia. Loving father of Jonathan, Jeremy ( Karina) and Kristina and a good friend of their mother Alexandra. He will be sadly missed by his dear mother Renee and his adoring sisters Lavinia and Giselle in Palestine and his father in law Tommaso. Special thanks to Dr. Paola Nieuwstraten, Dr. Banerjee and Dr. Prewal, Wendy Corber from CCAC and his amazing nurse Marina for their compassion, and care during Johnny’s illness and especially during his last days. The family will receive friends at the Cardinal Funeral Home on Friday August 26, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A mass to celebrate Johnny’s life will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel of the Newman Center ( 89 St. George St., northwest corner of Hoskin Ave. and St. George St.) on Saturday August 27, at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers we would like to honour Johnny’s love for his homeland Palestine and his hope for the future of its children by directing donations to “Project Hope” which provides educational opportunities to children in the area of Nablus Palestine.
