Obituary

Jose was a beloved father to Adriano, Lenny, and Lesley; father-in-law to Raffaele Labellarte; and proud grandfather to Sebastian Labellarte.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Leonia, and will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Maria, Egidia, Aldevina, Carlos, Antonio, Eduardo, Manuel, and Alda, as well as his many nieces and nephews.
Originally from Graciosa in the Azores, Jose came to Canada in 1973 to seek a better life. Together with his wife, Leonia, he worked hard to build a loving home and a future for their family. A hardworking man with a good sense of humour, Jose was always busy with projects around the house and enjoyed gardening and spending time with family and friends. He will be remembered for his love of family, his humour, and the simple joys he found in everyday life.
He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who loved him.
