(1919-2007)Passed away peacefully in Toronto on Saturday, May 26th. Beloved husband of Ema. Loving and devoted father of Anka (Dave Heagy), Tina (Edwin Micallef) and Irene (Glenn Erickson). He was a dedicated grandpa to Andrew, Steven , Anthony, Jacob, Matthew and Mitchell and will always have a special place in their hearts. Also greatly missed by his brother Louis and wife Sophie, sister-in-law Ivana Zakrajsek and the many nieces and nephews who loved him as their dear Uncle Joe. He brightened many lives with his humility, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand.Friends will be received at the Cardinal Funeral Home "Earle Elliott" Chapel (715 Dovercourt Road, Ossington Subway - Delaware Exit) on Friday June 1, 2007 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held in Our Lady Help of Christians Church (611 Manning Avenue.) on Saturday June 2, 2007 at 10 a.m. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery (8361 Yonge Street) to follow.
