Kyle Spencer Taylor September 30, 1962 – November 18, 2015 On the morning of November 18, Kyle Spencer Taylor passed away peacefully after an arduous battle with cancer at the age of 53. He was the loving father of Evan and Julia HooKong-Taylor, adoring and faithful spouse to Susan HooKong-Taylor, and devoted brother to Darien, Bailey and Blake Taylor. He will be dearly missed by many, especially his mother, Patricia Taylor, father and mother-in-law Joe and Sheila HooKong, sister-in-law Debra Norton, brother-in-law Richard HooKong, nieces and nephews Joseph and Lindsay Norton, Callum and Macklin Taylor, and Marcus, Andre and Isabella HooKong. Many thanks to all who journeyed with Kyle with their love and prayers. A special thanks to the staff at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga in the Complex Continuing Care unit for their exceptional care in his last days. Visitation to be held at Cardinal Funeral Home Bathurst Chapel, 366 Bathurst St.(north of Dundas) , Toronto, Sunday, November 22 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 588 Adelaide St. W. Toronto, Monday, November 23 at 10 a.m.Visitation

Hi Susan,
Corinna and myself are deeply moved by your loss.
These days are difficult and very painful. Generally people simply say that things will be better with time. However, the reality is that there will be many, many moments where Kyle's absence will be felt by you. St. Ambrose said that we have loved them in life, let us not forget them in death.
You are a beautiful couple. And, yes I mean you are. We have God's promise that after death life has changed and, not ended.
The formation team at St. Augustine discerned that Kyle was meant to be a Deacon. God has better plans for him. St. Augustine himself said that our hearts are restless until they rest with God. That's where Kyle is. We can't see him but he's around us with Our Blessed Lord.

Have just received the sad news that Kyle has lost that remorseless struggle which he faced with such fortitude. Our hearts and prayers are with you during this time of grieving. We heard the news of Kyle's passing today from my mother Naomi. We know how saddened you are, but at the same time thankful to see his pain come to an end.Cathie and myself have dealt with cancer for many years and the battle continues to this day.
