Obituary
Quietly and peacefully, God called Manuel, surrounded by his loving family at Toronto Western Hospital on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the age of 90. Manuel Medeiros, beloved husband of 56 years of the late Marta Medeiros. Cherished by his dear children, Glen (Margaret), Manuel (Dianne), Susy (Rui), and Sandy. Adoring grandfather to Samuel, Elijah, Emma, Madalyn and Noah. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends he has met throughout his wonderful life. Manuel will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his faith, and his endless compassion for all. Visitation will take place at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street (just north of Dundas St .W.) on Wednesday January 23, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at 9:45 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 588 Adelaide (at Bathurst St.). Entombment to follow in the Sacred Souls Mausoleum at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Ave. W. (east of Caledonia Road). As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Manuel C. Medeiros may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario at www.heartandstroke.ca/Visitation

Sending you all our heartfelt sympathy, may the beautiful memories you have of tio Manuel help you during this difficult time. Tio Manuel was our own gentle giant, so kind and caring to everyone. Always so welcoming when we visited him and tia Marta. We were so fortunate to have him in our lives, a true gentlemen a great example to all of us.
