Obituary

On October 12, 2024, at the age of 87, Manuel Medeiros gained his wings and rejoined his heavenly friends and family. 
 
Manuel was born December 22,1936 in St. Miguel, Azores.
 
A dedicated laborer in the construction industry, he worked tirelessly to provide for his family and create a better life in Canada. In retirement, Manuel found joy in gardening, nurturing his plants as lovingly as he cared for his children and grandchildren. His infectious humor and vibrant personality left a lasting impression on all who knew him, and he will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to family and the warmth he brought into every room. Manuel's legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
 
Manuel was the beloved husband of Teresa Medeiros for 63 years, devoted father to Maria (Dinis), Teresa (John), Domingos (Paulina), Paula (Jaime), and Joyce (Joe), grandfather to Jeniffer (Nelson), Mark (Chantel), Samantha (Nathan), Alison (Justin), Justin, Kaitlin (Caleb), Nicholas and great grandfather to Jayden, Sierra, Julian, Cameron, Attius and Ariela.

The family would like to pass on their heartfelt appreciation for those that provided such compassionate care at Toronto General Hospital.
