Obituary

PARADOWSKI, Marian Victor, born Nov 25, 1926 has passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at St. Joe’s Health Centre in Toronto on May 6, 2021 at the age of 94. Marian is survived by his son Richard (Marjolein), grandchildren Andrew (Chantal), Chris (Alisa), Tanya (Lee), great-grandchildren Kaylem, Kiarra, Luke his Nephew/Godson John (Szostakowski) and his first wife Laura (Borczuk/Beadle). He is predeceased by his Wife Kelly (Steblynski) mother Genowefa, Father Victor, Sister Jane, and his sons Edward and Joseph.

Born in Rajowka Poland, now a part of Belarus, he immigrated to Canada in 1947 and worked as a master Mason. He had a hand in building some of Toronto’s greatest landmarks, including the world famous Skydome. He enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family, playing the accordion and singing. He will be sorely missed by his friends and loved ones.

Funeral services were held at the Annette St. Cardinal Funeral Home and he was buried next to his wife at Glendale Cemetery. The family would be honoured if a donation in his memory be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers. Condolences can be forwarded to the family here.

Due to the current pandemic restrictions and under direction from our regulator, the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, effective November 23, 2020 all funerals and visitations will be by invitation only to limit the number of people in attendance and prevent the spread of COVID-19. What a lovely photo of Marian. He was a special man and his life covered many varied experiences, passing on a unique legacy to be treasured. I send my condolences to the family and hope you can support and comfort each other and carry fond memories of and pride in the man who was such a great part of a your family. I'm glad I got to know him.
