Dear Family, Friends, Loved Ones and Colleagues of Mike Pimentel,
Please accept my most deepest and sincere sympathy, as there are just no words to ease your inconsolable tragic loss. My heart goes out to you all at this time and forever.
I have spent the last 2yrs employed at Mike's gym. Sadly, our room is no longer the same, and it never will be…
We will no longer have the luxury of sharing our daily lives with Mike's brightly coloured shorts, his signature hooded sweatshirt, his wildly impressively tattoos, and above all… HIS SMILE. Nine times out of ten Mike wore a beautiful smile, that tenth time Mike wore a yawn. Yes, a simple honest yawn. Mike Pimentel clearly worked very hard in all areas of his life. Still he was always that smiley, easy going guy in the room that most guys were casually chatting with, and most girls wanted to be chatting with…. It was impossible NOT to notice when Mike was in the room. He was just one of those all around great guys that you looked forward to seeing again tomorrow.
Mikes appearance gave way to that of a very strong, focused, routined individual. But beneath that, there was a sweet, hardworking, young man with manners like none other. It was amazing once you actually spoke to him because he so clearly had no idea as to how charming, powerful, and really lovely he truly was. He looked like an achievement on the outside, but beneath he was such a promising work in progress. So very young, so very ambitious, genuine goals, constantly moving forward… Mike was a free spirit, eager to listen and share, and never afraid to try anything new. He may, or may not, have known what an influence he had by simply walking into our gym everyday. But in smiling his each and every hello and goodbye, cracking a joke, and always being the one to hold the door from whomever followed behind… he enhanced our lives. I feel so very lucky as to have been gifted by his daily presence, even if only for the past 2yrs. I can only imagine how lovely it must have been to have known Mike longer.
Thank you, Mike, for being you… as well, thank you too ALL who shaped, loved and led this wonderful soul into our lives…

Mike is a very special person in my cousins life, and its a tragedy this has happened. God I ask you to take his hand and guide him to a place of peace, so his family will have their sense of peace with this situation. Mike was a great guy with a huge personality. My condolences to the family, and his friends.

Your son Mike was an amazing person; he always knew how to put a smile on others faces. You did a great job raising such a wonderful man he will be greatly missed! Dear Gloria Luz, I want to thank you for bringing such an exceptional and extraordinary soul into my life. His beauty and free spirited heart is always an inspiration.
It takes a great parent to raise and even greater child. Mike's affection, voice, laugh, devotion, ambition, and love for life, will forever be engraved in my heart.
To the family: I am so so so deeply sorry for having to endure such a deafening loss. As we are forced to say goodbye to a wonderful soul, and as hard as it is to admit, we must find a grain of comfort in every footstep he left behind for us to remember him by.
From the bottom of my broken heart, thank you for bringing him into our lives. May he now be laid to rest and may his soul be strong enough for us to feel his presence until he finds his way back to us. I will miss him and love him always...

Although I did not know Mike or his family, my heart sank when I heard about his tragic death. I have children his age and couldn't imagine the pain you all must be going through. This is a mother's worst nightmare,it's truly sad that there are "cowards" and people who could take another
