Obituary
ZMUDSKY, MIKE (MYCHAJLO) was born on September 28th, 1924 to Nikolaus and Anastazia Zmudskyj in Postoliwka, region of Ternopil, Ukraine. Mychajlo immigrated to Canada from Voelkermarkt, Austria in 1948 and settled in Toronto where he worked as a roller attendant for many years. Mike never married and had no immediate family, leaving behind only a niece and nephew in Poland and Ukraine. In 2000, Mychajlo moved to the Ivan Franko Home in Mississauga, where he lived out his years in quiet enjoyment till his hospitalization on March 5th, 2014. On March 14th, 2014 Mike Zmudsky died peacefully, after a brief illness, at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, Ontario. Visitation will be held from 10 – 11 am. on Wednesday, March 19th in the All Saints of Ukraine Chapel, 1280 Dundas St. West, Oakville, with a funeral service at 11 am. Interment will follow at St. Volodymyr’s Cemetery, Oakville. “Vichnaya pamyat!”Visitation
