Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we are announcing the passing of Ming Mah on Monday February 17, 2025 at the age of 65.

Ming was a loving and devoted husband to Susan, proud dad to Michael and beloved brother to OiWah, Jong, Kin and Yun.

Ming was a software engineer who enjoyed his work tremendously. He was a big fan of Apple, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the band Chicago and of course Disney World. His favorite food was the turkey leg from Disney World.

Despite his health challenges, Ming was relentlessly optimistic in life. We will miss him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the St. Michael's Foundation

Susan and Michael. Im deeply sorry for your loss. I just discovered this obituary for Ming and was unaware of his passing. I worked with Ming at Alias and Autodesk for 25 years between 1991 and 2016. Ming was a great work colleague, kind, gentle, very smart, hard worker, and I respected him very much. We were both Apple fans and would often discuss new Apple product releases when we ran into each other in the halls at work. I know many others felt the same way about Ming. I lost touch with him when I left Autodesk in 2016. He made significant contributions at Alias/Autodesk throughout his career and those of us that worked with him very much remember him with fond thoughts. He always signed off his emails with “Have fun!” which are great words to live by.
