Sadly, our family announces the passing of Duke on Sunday, March 30th, 2008 at the age of 78. Duke was greatly loved by his devoted wife Nellie Danica (Mahovlich) for over 50 years. Proud father of Kim, Casey (Catherine) and Dean. Loving Gigi of Madison and Hunter. Duke's larger than life personality will be missed by friends, acquaintances and family.Friends will be received at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (east of Keele St.), on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Orthodox Rite of Funeral will take place at the Annette Chapel of Cardinal Funeral Home on Thursday, April 3rd, 2008 at 11 a.m. followed by the interment at Park Lawn Cemetery (2845 Bloor St. West). A celebration of Duke's life will be held following the interment.
