Rosa, Samantha, Alexa and Ryan,
Our hearts go out to you all. Nelson was not only a friend to us but he was like family. We couldn't have asked for a better Godfather to Jenifer. He will always be in our thoughts.

I came onto the Cardinal Home website to see if it was a big mistake. I can not believe it my condolences goes out to all of you Rosa the kids, Alice Nancy, Natalia etc... it goes out to everyone that knew him he has touched us all he made us laugh he was the best at that. I am truly sorry and saddened. I am so sorry.

Nelson´s nephews, Godson and I were very fortunate for having him a part of our lives. I know he knew how much we liked him and I am happy that after so many years away, we still got to see his smile for a little while longer. Nelson has always been in our daily thoughts and conversations and always brought smiles and laughter into our home. I am sorry I did not thank him for having been such a great brother-in-law, uncle and Godfather. Nelson will forever continue to be in our hearts and prayers. Nelson will forever be in our thoughts and we will continue to smile and laugh at every great memory we were fortunate to have shared with him. To all the Machado family, our sincere condolences.
