Raul Ferreira da Cunha. Passed away peacefully on Monday February 07 2022 at the age of 90. Born in Vale Covo,Bombarral, Portugal on June 26 1931, he emigrated to Canada in 1962. Loving husband of Maria Fausta Cunha (Bicho). Dear father to Raul (Ilda) and Roger(Linda). Loving Avo to Jennifer (Manuel) Stephanie(Paolo) Jonathan (Ashley) Jessica and Vanessa. Unforgettable "I Love You" bis-avô to Tristan, Ariana, Stella, Nicolo, Leonardo, and Ava. He will be missed and fondly remembered by family and friends alike, everyone has a story to remember him by.
The family would like to thank the staff at Castleview Wychwood Towers, 4 West, for their help in caring for him over the past 7 months. Family will receive friends on Friday February 11th from 4 pm - 9 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary Roman Catholic Parish (Bathurst & Adelaide St.) on Saturday February 12th, 2022 at 9:45 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill. You must register for your participation at the visitation and at the mass. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be made the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.

Due to the current pandemic restrictions and direction from our regulator, the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, effective January 5, 2022 all guests attending funerals and visitations must pre schedule their attendance in order to prevent line ups or exceed current capacity limits.
