SALVATORE RASO



It is with great sorrow that the family of Salvatore announce his passing on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at the age of 86. Salvatore was born and raised in San Giorgio Morgeto, Reggio di Calabria, Italy, where he also trained to become a Master cabinet maker. He served his country with the Red Cross during the Second World War. Salvatore emigrated to Toronto where he raised his family. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Maria Annunziata, his children Pasquale (Mary), Angela (Ed), and Guido. Salvatore was also a very proud Nonno, and will be sorely missed by Vanessa, Matthew, Michael, Paul and Andrea. Friends may call at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street (near Dundas) on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass from St. Francis of Assisi Church (Grace Street, south of College) on Thursday at 9:45 am. Entombment to follow, Westminster Mausoleum. If desired, donations in Salvatore's memory may be made to the University Health Network or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
