Mayers, Walter (John)It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved John. In his 79th year, on Tuesday, May 16, 2006. Retired long time employee of Toronto Hydro. Cherished brother of Rose Morris. Loving uncle of Brian, Bruce, Robert, Wayne, David and Lesley. John will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all his extended family and friends. Friends will be received at the Cardinal Funeral Home "Earle Elliot" Chapel 715 Dovercourt Road (Ossington Subway-Delaware exit) on Friday, May 19, 2006 from 5-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, May 20, 2006 at 1:00 pm. Mr. Mayers will be laid to rest in Sanctuary Park Cemetery (1570 Royal York Road) on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 2 pm.
