Obituary

Wolodymyr (Walter) Kudla, beloved husband of Helen, loving father of Mira, Walter & Roman, and loving grandfather of Sophia Kudla, Jennifer & Michael D'Arquea, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2007, at St. Michael's Hospital at the age of 84. He was a caring & loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed life and his family to the fullest. Wolodymyr was a world war two veteran; a lieutenant in the Ukranian National Army (Halychyna). To all his friends and associates he was a trusted, hard working friend who would not let them down. The Kudla Family would like to express their heart felt thanks for all the support, kindness and diligent help to the following: Spencer Allen, Chaplin Debra Kine, Dr. La Delfa and all of the marvellous staff of the St. Michael's Palliative Care Unit.



Friends will be received at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street (near Keele) on Friday from 6-9 pm, with Panachida at 7:30 pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 3 at 9:30 am, then to the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection (Leeds Street) for Funeral Mass at 10 am with interment at St. Volodymyr Ukranian Cemetery,Oakville. In memory of Wolodymyr (Walter) Kudla donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family."
