Obituary

Yaroslav Tserkovnyk passed away peacefully on October 5, 2026, at the age of 85. Born in Ukraine in 1941, he was raised with deep love and devotion by his mother, who predeceased him in 1994. Later in life, he embarked on a new chapter by moving to Canada, where he reunited and lived with his father.
Known for his bright spirit, extraordinary generosity, and unwavering work ethic, he brought joy to everyone around him. He was a remarkably handy man who truly could fix anything, always ready to lend his skills and his big heart to help others. Above all, he was a happy, hardworking family man.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Maria; his son, Ivan; his daughter, Maria; and Lesia (Sonia). He was a cherished grandfather to Oksana, Ivanka, Victoria, Stephan, and Krystyna, and a proud great-grandfather to Veronica, Violeta, Danylko, and Mia. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
