Mrs.M was my first teacher ever in Junior Kindergarten at Lord Dufferin. A splendid teacher - I remember the first day I bawled my eyes out until she distracted me long enough to have fun with the other kids. This was almost 20 years ago and still a vivid memory along with many others. Awesome teacher and person. I'll remember her for her love of education, people, fun and the colour purple. My deepest condolences to her family, friends, colleagues and her former students like myself who had the honour to be in this wonderful woman's class.

Mrs. M was quite literally the first teacher I have come in contact with at Lord Dufferin over a decade ago. I can't express enough how much having her to show me how to be compassionate and caring has changed me as a child and formed the foundation of who I am as an adult. She will live on in the memories of all the children who had the fortune of having her as a teacher.

My name is Samantha Smith and I was in Mr. V's and Ms. M's JK class in the 90's. The old Lord Dufferin. Although I don't remember the building well, what I do remember is how much fun I had in their class. Ms. M loved purple as much as I did, and I remember distinctly making paper 'purses' and colouring them in purple with her. All the memories I have of her include her smile and her laugh. She is a beautiful woman and I will never forget her. Thank you for being apart of my childhood and being as strong as you are. May you forever rest in peace and all my condolences go out to your family and friends. Kindly, Samantha Smith

Thank you for being you. You will be missed. I am glad our paths crossed. You may be gone from my sight, but not from my heart. When I wander down memory lane. I will think of you with a smile.
