Obituary

MRS. ANN HOSHOWSKY (nee Harasymchuk). Passed away peacefully on March 10, with members of her family at her side, at Sunnybrook Hospital after a long and challenging battle with cancer. Beloved wife of 60 years to Morris,
mother to sons Terry and Robert, mother-in-law to Cathy and Liz, and devoted grandmother to Kaitlyn, James and Victoria.

The eldest child of Theodore and Lena Harasymchuk, Ann was born in Rosa, Manitoba on April 10, 1924. Proud sister to Mary Kohut, Mitch, Agnes Kendall, Danny, and deceased brothers Peter and Bill. A dedicated sister-in-law to Nina, Olga and Pearl, and proud aunt to 15 nieces and nephews. Dear niece of uncle Bill and Effie Didora.

For over three decades, Ann was an active fundraiser for the Canadian Heart Foundation, United Appeal, Arthritis Society of Canada, and the Canadian Cancer Society. For many years, she was an active member of the Ukrainian
Women's Association, and served as Federation Secretary for the Toronto and Area Council of Women.

Visitation on Monday March 12 and Tuesday March 13 at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst Street north of Dundas, 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m., with Panachida Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service at St. Volodymyr Cathedral, 404 Bathurst, on Wednesday March 13 at 11:30 a.m. Internment to follow at
Prospect Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children Of Chornobyl Canadian Fund (CCCF), and the Ukrainian National Federation Building Fund.
