Obituary
Born in Dzhurkiv, Kolomyia, Ukraine, on October 14, 1925, died surrounded by her loving daughters at St. Joseph's Health Centre in Toronto on October 24, 2016. Anna was predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Joseph (Osyp). She will be greatly missed by her daughters Orysia, Marusia and Halyna, sons-in-law Ehor Didyk and Martin Chepesiuk and grandsons Marco and Stefan Hlouschko (and his wife Inna Husak) and Paul, Oles and John Chepesiuk. She will be remembered as a dear wife, loving mother, doting baba and loyal friend. Our sincere thank you to Dr. William Chepesiuk (Anna's family physician) and internists Drs. Lehnert, El Sobky, Seth and Kapur for their excellent medical care and to the compassionate M-4 nursing team. Resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St., on Thursday, October 27th from 5 to 8 p.m. with Panakhyda at 7:30 p.m. Divine Liturgy to be held at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 135 La Rose Ave., on Friday, October 28th at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ukrainian Canadian Social Services (Toronto) Inc. at www.tor.ucss.info would be appreciated.
