I met Anna in 2009 when my mother and her husband were in the ICU at Mount Sinai Hospital. Unfortunately both are loved ones passed away. Nonetheless, Anna and I became friends.
Anna was a very nice lady and I would call her every couple of weeks. When Anna became ill, I visited her at Toronto Western where she had her surgery. Afterwards I saw her at Baycrest where she was recuperating.
I know Anna truly missed her husband when he passed away. I hope she is now at peace and with her beloved George.
Althouh I briefly knew Anna, I am grateful for our friendship. I will cherish her words of wisdom.
