Obituary
Surrounded by her loving family, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Predeceased by family in Ukraine. She is remembered as an endearing wife by John, loving mother by Mary (Andrej) and William (Kathleen), cherished grandmother by Nicholas, Christopher and Jake, cousin John (in Hamilton), several nieces and nephews and many friends. The family would like to thank the ICU staff at Humber Regional Hospital Hospital-Church Site for making her passing peaceful and faithful. Resting at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. on Friday, May 31, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. Panakhyda at 7 pm. Funeral mass to held at The Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection, 30 Leeds St. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10 am. Burial to follow at St. Volodymyr Cemetery, Oakville. I've just had to leave my desk at work again, so I don't lose it in front of my coworkers. I want to go home and hold my wife and dgethaur tight and not let go. I want James, a man I've never met, to be able to do the same with his wife and children. But that's not going to happen.So all I can do is think about fathers and mothers and dgethaurs and sons and the ties of love that bind us, reread Henri's words again, and with every spiritual molecule in my non-relgious body, silently say, Amen.
