PORTMAN, Bertha Elizabeth. Passed away peacefully on Thursday November 3, 2016 at Toronto Western Hospital at the age of 87. Beloved mother of James (Nataliya), Thomas (Maria) and Elizabeth Portman. Loving grandmother of Andrei, Alexander “Sasha”, Julian, Arthur and Martin. Dear sister of Marion Scott (late Ray). Predeceased by her sisters Beatrice and Evelyn. Surviving are many nieces and nephews. Resting at Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street, Toronto (east of Keele St.) where the family will receive friends on Sunday November 6, 2016 from 1-2p.m. A memorial service will follow the visitation beginning at 2 pm. Cremation has taken place; private interment will follow on a later date.Visitation
