Brenda Joyce Russell, age 69, passed away on Sunday December 8, 2013 peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with Diabetes and related illnesses at the O'Neil Centre in Toronto, her home since 2010. She was born in St. Ann, Jamaica W.I. and was the youngest of 2 children. Brenda was preceded in death by both parents at an early age and more recently by her beloved aunt Doris Higgins. She loved her two Daughters in Law, Juliet (Wayne) and Mabel (Gary) and all other family members. Brenda will be missed forever and her legacy lives on in her descendants. She will forever be an inspiration of love, courage, and a strong spirit to her family and all those who had an opportunity to know her, and care for her. A Celebration of Brenda’s Life will be held on Saturday December 14, 2013 from 11A.M. to 12 noon at the Cardinal Funeral Home (Bathurst Chapel) located at 366 Bathurst St. Toronto, Ontario.
