Obituary
Passed away at St. Joseph's Health Centre, with family by her side at the age of 80. Devoted wife of the late Jose for nearly 60 years. Cherished mother of Gabriela, Frank (Jane), Iria (the late Fernando Toro), Geana, and Steven. Proud Vavo of Jessica, Daniella, Andrew, Megan, Amanda, Jason, and Eva.
Born in São Miguel, Portugal Claudina immigrated to Canada with her husband and children in 1968. She was the happiest while enjoying scratch tickets after a home cooked feast, and was known for her quirky sayings and quick comebacks. The family dinner table won't be the same without her.
Claudina will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by her family and friends.

After an extended time off from work, I connected with Gabby, my beautiful friend and colleague, who shared the news of her Mom's passing. To the entire Cruz family, I extend not only my sincerest sympathies to all of you but prayers as well. The days ahead will seem dark but with friends and extended family members, it will be okay.
May Mrs. Claudina Cruz rest in everlasting peace.
