Morton, Elizabeth (Betty) - Past President and life member of the Ladies Auxiliary R.C.L. Branch No. 75 Fairbank, Member of Clovelly Chapter No. 144 O.E.S. After a long struggle of pain and suffering, she prayed to the Lord to take her out of her misery and He granted her prayer on Sunday, July 23, 2006. On the occasion of her 60th wedding anniversay on December 21, 2005, she renewed her vows to her beloved husband Ernest. She will always be loved and remembered for her sense of humour by her daughters Joann (Nepean) and Diane (Toronto). The family will receive friends at Cardinal Funeral Home , 366 Bathurst Street (near Dundas) on Tuesday 6-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Mrs. Morton will be resting at the York Memorial Presbyterian Church (1695 Keele St.at Donald Ave.) on Thursday from noon until the service time at 1 p.m. Interment at Glendale Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In memory and celebration of Elizabeth's life, donations to the Osteoporosis Society of Canada or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by her family.
