Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Gilberta Vultao on February 25th,2026 , after a long and unforgettable journey, surrounded by love.

 

A devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Gilberta touched the lives of everyone who knew her with kindness, warmth and unwavering strength. Throughout her journey she faced every challenge with remarkable courage, grace, and a gentle spirit that inspired all who knew her.

 

Gilberta is survived by her children Maria, Margarida, Dalia, Manuel, Jacinto, Joe, John, Luis, Messias, Jill and Fatima. She is the proud loving grandma to 27 grand children and 31 great grand children. She is preceded in death by her father, Tony Soares Chaves, her mother Maria De Jesus, and her husband Jacinto Vultao, whose memory she held close throughout her life.

 

She will be truly missed by family and friends, who will forever cherish her memory.

 

Forever in our hearts. Gone but never forgotten. A memory that is a treasure. We love you Mom and Avo.
