Obituary

Our amazing God called Guilhermina Pimentel home peacefully on April 14, 2022. We praise Jesus that she was able to successfully see her 96th birthday recently.

While we will miss her terribly, we find encouragement from the incredible legacy she left behind in showing us all what it looks like to continue pushing forward through life with strength, courage, and faith.

She has indeed inspired us all to remember that waking up each day is God’s way of saying go make a difference, encourage a soul, inspire a mind.

Those who had the privilege of knowing my mom know she was a woman of deep faith so I want to start with a verse from scripture that is especially meaningful since she made her last journey and ascended into heaven during the Easter Season. John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her "I am the resurrection and the life. She who believes in me will live even though she dies...and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." Easter is the season of sacrifice, and mom sure lived a life of sacrifice for others. It is the season of hope and new life... Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly. It is the season when death does not have the last word. It is the season of the Resurrection. Christ has risen; mom has risen! Mom might have left this world, but she will never leave our hearts.
