IRENE MYROSLAWA KOZAK (née TATARSKY)
With courage, dignity and faith, Irene passed away peacefully on October 28th, 2007 at the age of 86. Completely devoted to her children, grandchildren and family, she was an adventurous traveller who visited every continent and lived life to the fullest. Irene will be remembered as a kind, generous and welcoming spirit. Irene will be reunited with her beloved husband, Andrij (d. 1974). She is lovingly missed by her daughter, Tamara (Yaro Mikitchook) and son, Orest (Christina Gust). Dear Babusia of Andrew (Françoise), Adrian (Emma), Denis (Christine), Mark (Allison), Philip (Leona), Alex and Christian. Respected sister of Zenon (Christine). The family will receive friends at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (near Keele) Thursday from 7 - 9 p.m. with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Friday 9:30 a.m. then to the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection (Leeds St.) for Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Plast Ukrainian Youth Organization or the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection would be appreciated by the family.
