Obituary
PROC, Irene - Passed away peacefully with her son at her bedside on Wednesday, January 2, 2008, after a long illness and a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 87. She will be sadly missed by her son George, daughter-in-law Bozenna and granddaughter Larysa. Irene's family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at the Ivan Franko Home for their compassionate and loving care. Friends may call at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette St. (east of Keele) on Friday from 6:30-9:00 p.m. with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. Divine Liturgy will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2007 at 10 a.m. at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church (LaRose Ave.) Interment to follow at Prospect Cemetery. Memorial donations to Children of Chornobyl Canadian Fund would be appreciated."Visitation
