Obituary

Julieta De Melo, born on July 15, 1924, in Azambuja, Ribatejo, Portugal. God called Julieta De Melo peacefully surrounded by her family on August 23, 2026, at the age of 102.
She is now reunited in Heaven by her beloved husband, João De Melo, parents, Rafael Gonçalves Sénico and Carlota Bernardes Da Silva, and siblings. Cherished by her children Maria Orlanda (Acacio) and Olga (Joaquim). Proud grandmother to Sandra (Serafim) and loving great-grandmother to Annabel and Melissa. She was also cherished by her nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends whose lives she touched over the years
She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives and friends in both Portugal and Canada.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as well as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada
