Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Julieta Martins on September 29, 2024, at the age of 89. Julieta was born on August 31, 1935 in Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel Island, Portugal.

She was married to her beloved husband, Manuel, until his passing in 2000.

She was a loving Mother to her children, Manny, Joao and Ana, and welcomed her son-in-law Joe, and daughter-in-law Zena, into her family with love and open arms. Her deep love and pride in her granddaughters, Cheyenne, Jasmine, Averey and Megan knew no bounds and they will carry her love for them always.

Julieta was also a loving sister to her brothers, Antonio (Rosalinda) and Robert, all predeceased.

She was a wonderful aunt to Robert, a beloved sister-in-law, neighbour and friend.

Her unconditional love and support for all her family and friends will live on with the example she set, through good times and bad, always with grace and faith, but most importantly with strength and humour.

In lieu of flowers, donations welcome to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
