Obituary
Born in Ukraine, Katherine passed away peacefully at Etobicoke General Hospital on January 18, 2007, in her 97th year.Lovingly remembered by her sons Mike and his wife Marian, and Walter and his wife Olive. Baba to Diane (Franco Rugosi), Christine, Mark and Andrea. Pra Baba to Andrew, Peter and Matthew Rugosi. Katherine will be greatly missed for her strength of spirit which helped her raise her two sons on her own after the death of her husband John in 1955.
The family will receive friends at the Cardinal Funeral Home, 92 Annette Street (near Keele) on Monday, January 22, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, with Panachida at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 23 at 9:30, then to
St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral (Franklin Avenue) for Funeral Mass at 10 am. The interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
