Obituary

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Laura Medeiros Melo Pimentel who passed away on Wednesday January 11th, 2023 in Brampton. Beloved wife of the late Joao Pimentel. Loving mother of Susanne Carreiro and her husband Joe, Laura Santos, Rosemary Costa and her husband Carlos and Joao "John" Pimentel and his wife Lupina. Dear grandmother of Jason (Lisa Marie), Jessica (Jerome), Melissa (Chad), Matthew (Jessica), Adam, Vic and John. Great-grandmother of Charlotte, Anneliese, Jason, Savannah, Landon, Tristan, Jayden, Sophia, Aria and Gianna. Survived by her sister, the Sister Natalia Melo. Predeceased by her parents and 5 siblings.

Resting at Cardinal Funeral Home, 366 Bathurst St., Toronto, where friends are invited to visit on Thursday January 19th, from 2-5 & 6-9 p.m. There will be a Prayer Vigil between the hour of 3:30 & 4pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday January 20th, at St. Mary's Parish, Bathurst Ave., Toronto, at 9:45 am. Interment will follow at Prospect Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
